Gold in our veins
The permanent exhibit “Gold in our veins” is a must! This new exhibit tells the stories of mining workers from the 1920’s to today, and explains the important role the Lamaque Mine played on the economic, social and cultural levels.
Assisted by a variety of interactive tools, our visitors experiment what it feels like to drill rock. Discover the different trades and the life of these valorous men, proud builders of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.
