Potvin 1993 to 1997 (elected en 2000)
She reset the project of La Cité de l'Or after the failure of the first studies held in the 1980s. She approached the mining members to create a engineering committee and to make a new study on the project of La Cité de l'Or. She is responsible for the communication plan at the opening of La Cité de L'Or in 1995. She attended the production committee for the installation of the permanent exhibit of La Cité de l'Or.
She took part in several tourist television shows to promote the Cité de l'Or and today, she is an enthusiast ambassador for La Cité de l'Or, the mining Village and La Vallée de l'Or naturally. |

Robert A. Lauriault 1993 - 1998
Mr. Lauriault, a member of the mining engineering
committee in the early 90's participated in the
creation of the cité de l'or concept. A mining
engineer by profession, he joined the board of
directors of the Corporation du Village Minier de
Bourlamaque / La Cité de l'Or in December 1993 and
was its president from 1996 to 1998. During this time,
La Cité de l'Or won numerous awards including the
Lauréat National de l'innovation Tourisme
Québécois. As well it is under his tenure in 1997
that the restoration of the Hoist Room and Headframes
#6 and #7 were done. However, his most original
contribution was the creation of a "cuvée de
l'or", a personalized Bordeaux wine vintage. More
than 400 cases were sold between 1998 and 2000.
