Mobility impaired person, access is difficult underground but the surface area visit is accessible.

For the underground visit - Children must be 6 years old and 43 inches tall : For security purposes, the Corporation du Village minier de Bourlamaque has put in place this security rule: The average development growth for a 6 years old child is 44 inches for a boy and 43 inches for a girl. In case of emergency only, the child must have the balance, coordination, endurance and development, to climb up a vertical ladder. This emergency exit is made of 12 levels, 16 ladders and 12 steps per ladder, each step have a distance between them of 12 inches, which represent approximately 300 feet (91 metres).
