In the historic house, you will discover the way of life from families of that time and admire an exhibition of new historic photos. While walking in Bourlamaque’s mining village, you will see the boarding houses principally intented for singles miners, their cafeteria, the health center, the reception house and the magnificent houses reserved for the managers of the mining company.

 

 

 

 

Audioguided tour of the Bourlamaque Mining Village

 

Stroll down the mining village’s memory lane thanks to our audioguided tour.  The RADIO BOURLAMAQUE SHOW highlights the important moments of our short but meaningful history, that has benefit the collective wealth of our community. Pierre Brassard, actor and humorist, lends his voice for the role of a reporter from the 50’s and to a journalist of the Y2K era. Invited guests are the citizens of yesterday and of now. Walking through the mining village, you will also witness the boarding houses that were mainly intended for single miners, their cafeteria, the hospital, the guest house and the magnificent homes of the mining company managers.
